The String Bump [ with the bent rod ] is a dampening agent so that the rubber dampener on the end is not relied on to do all the work. Instead of the shocks traveling lineal to the bow the shocks direction is change and by the string bump having a bend it will help dampen the shot.
As an option I can upgrade your APA bow or another bow with the String Bump.
Be advised that the string bump will contact string higher towards to deep loop. That is also more ideal. However it’s recommended to get that area of the string served or if you get new strings to give the proper spec measurements to the string manufactures for the serving .

This is an arrow build that we here at Vital Limits build in house Utilizing a standard size .246ID semi weaved shaft, built with AV2 vanes and 1.0 Concept system with Stainless Steel Double shoulder insert. Additionally the shaft is spine located and comes with a Firenock nock ( un - lit ) . 300, 350 or 400 spine. $220.00 per dozen plus shipping unless local pickup.
Custom Vane Color options $15.00 per order . Lit functions option [ Firenock Circuit , battery and end cap ] add $26 extra per arrow. [ All VL 246 build include the Firenock S unlit nock ]

Built with Aero Concept System. It is an insert with a male threaded end and a female point type. This allows for room in the shaft for concept tube and an “insert” style build which is better than the typically out-sert system commonly found.
