Ravin Cross bow company is recalling white nocks do to dry fire issues..
"Product description
The recall involves all white plastic molded clip-on nocks (designated Part No. 100911) used in arrows for Ravin® Crossbows. This recall only applies to white Ravin® clip-on nocks and does not apply to any Ravin®Crossbows or Ravin® arrows.
Hazard identified
If the nock is not fully engaged with the bowstring, the Ravin® Crossbow may not discharge when the trigger is pulled. Failure to return the Safety to the SAFE position may result in the bow discharging while re-nocking of the arrow. If the bow discharges the arrow during re-nocking and the user has ignored the additional warning to not put their hand in the bowstring path, the bowstring can impact the user's hand possibly causing a laceration hazard to the finger.
As of December 1, 2017, the company has received no reports of injuries in Canada.
Number sold
Approximately 3600 white clip-on nocks were sold in Canada and approximately 220,000 were distributed in the United States.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from October 2016 through November 2017 in Canada and the United States at various retailers and online stores.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the white nocks and throw them away. Contact Ravin® Crossbows for replacement orange nocks.
